White Ribbon Day – Friday 18th November

Join the silent march through the streets of Bunbury followed by a service and free community BBQ

Assemble outside the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries at 64 Wittenoom Street at 10.30am, march commences 10.45am

An Australia free from all forms of violence and abuse against women and children is every woman and child’s right, and everyone’s responsibility.

White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement engaging men and boys to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality, and create new opportunities for men to build positive, healthy and respectful relationships. Most men share a belief that violence against women and children is never acceptable, yet family violence support services are full of women. Violence against women occurs across all cultures and communities. It takes many forms, including physical, sexual, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and financial abuse, and a wide range of controlling, coercive and intimidating behaviour. Ending men’s violence against women can sometimes feel like an impossible goal, but together we can rise to the challenge of making real, long-term change.
